Will Sharon Breslau be NAKED & FLAILING? You’ll have to come see her one-woman show in March to find out!

"Naked & Flailing" is a funny and thought-provoking evening of monologues...

Robert Burke Warren, Chronogram, March 2007

"...a high-voltage performance. Gales of laughter, and possibly a few tears [with] never a dull moment".

Rebecca Daniels, Woodstock Times, March 15, 2007

NAKED & FLAILING, written & performed by Breslau is a powerful and wild show that makes you lean forward to hear every word; whether it’s about a little girls crazy dreams for the future, a bebop poets scatological rantings, a blue-blood on a yacht who’s swimming in her own political incorrectness, or an absurd ride out into the universe draped in red. Each monologue is like fireworks right out of Breslau’s charged imagination. Breslau has been likened to Lilly Tomlin, Whoopie Goldberg, and Tracey Ullman in many NYC papers during her 20 year acting career that featured her in: commercials, network television, feature films, regional and improvisational theater, and throughout her stand up comedy career. At the end of the 90’s, in Manhattan, you could catch Breslau literally running between clubs to perform 6—8 shows a week. Luckily, she has recently moved to the Woodstock area and has unleashed these many characters to provide an evening on the lunatic fringe.

Breslau notes, “The audience seems to laugh a lot when they come to my show and in this status quo, catch-up world how often do you cock your head back and laugh?” producer Edie Lefever adds, “Sharon leads you down one path but startles you at the end.”

Breslau comments, “I’ve wrapped up this big box called Naked & Flailing. It’s my gift, here ya go! I think it’ll be something the audience has never gotten before.”
