"No Exit", by Jean Paul Satre Directed by Eric Jagoda
Phillip Levine as Garcin
Ann Osmond as Estelle
Linda Reznick as Inez
Tom Webb as the Bellhop
Stage Manager: Jack Forman
Place yourself within a relatively bare room from which you cannot escape with the two people you despise the most,
and you have just placed yourself in the shoes of Sartre's characters, Garcin, Inez, and Estelle.
This existential idea that "Hell is other people" is the underlying theme throughout this 1944 play.
AND
"Virtual Reality" by Alan Arkin Directed by Kristina Hauptfuehrer
Joe Bongiorno as De Recha
Gregor Trieste as Lefty
Stage Manager: Renee Samuels
Meeting in a murky warehouse, Lefty and De Recha await a shipment of supplies needed for an undefined job. When the materials
do not arrive on time, De Recha suggests a dry-run rehearsal of checking the contents on an imagined manifest.
Lefty, who has no idea of what the job is or what the shipping crates could possibly contain, gets progressively flustered
as he goes through a charade of identifying invisible items and attempting to assemble them.
